Client Case Study: Brett from Parkwood (4214)
Brett, a resident of Parkwood (4214), recently found himself in need of plumbing services when he noticed that his hot water system was not functioning properly. After doing some research, he came across Reactive Plumbing & Electrical through their Gold Coast Magnet ad.
Assigned Technician: Jesikka
Jesikka, one of our top service technicians, was assigned to the job due to her expertise and experience in handling similar issues with hot water systems. She has been with Reactive Plumbing & Electrical for over 5 years and is known for her attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills.
The Job Description & Solution
Upon arrival at Brett’s home, Jesikka conducted a thorough inspection of the hot water system and found that all valve work was old and needed replacement. Further investigation revealed that the water coming out of the hot tap was only at 32.5°C, well below plumbing standards.
Jesikka recommended a thermostat plus element combo as it could potentially solve the issue instead of just replacing the thermostat alone. The scope of works included disconnecting electrical connections to ensure safety while working on the system, upgrading the circuit breaker to a new safety switch as part of rectifying the circuit/system, and supplying and installing a replacement thermostat.
Please note that there was no allowance for element replacement in this case due to its potential solution through replacing just the thermostat.
As per our company policy regarding used parts or components provided by clients or third parties, we cannot provide any warranty for this particular job.
