Introduction:
Mark, a resident of the suburb of Fletcher (2287), recently found himself dealing with a blocked drain. After trying to resolve the issue on his own without success, he turned to Reactive Plumbing & Electrical for help. He had come across our company through our advertisement in the Newcastle Magnet.

We assigned Adam, one of our experienced service technicians, to handle Mark’s job. With years of experience and extensive training in plumbing and drainage systems, we knew Adam was the best person for this task.
The Job Description:
Upon arrival at Mark’s property, Adam conducted an initial inspection and determined that there was indeed a blockage in the drain. The blockage was causing water to back up into various fixtures throughout the house.
“I could tell right away that this was not going to be an easy fix,” recalls Adam.“The blockage seemed quite severe.”
To address the issue effectively, Adam decided to use specialized drain cleaning equipment along with CCTV technology. This would allow him to locate and identify any potential underlying issues within the pipes while also clearing out any obstructions.
The Solution:
In order to clear out the blockage completely and restore proper flow in Mark’s drains, Adam used high-pressure water jetting equipment as well as mechanical augers. These tools were able to break down and remove all debris from within the pipes without causing any damage or disruption.
Once the blockage was cleared, Adam conducted a thorough CCTV inspection of the pipes to ensure that there were no other issues present. He also provided Mark with some helpful tips on how to prevent future blockages and maintain healthy drains.
