Upon arrival at Harley’s home, Nathan inspected the electric storage hot water system and determined that it was beyond repair. The system was old and needed to be replaced. We provided a quote for a new 315L Rheem stainless steel electric storage hws on a ripple slab.
To ensure safety during installation, we isolated the water and power supply before draining the existing hws. Our team then proceeded to install the new system along with new valves and pipework tailored specifically for this setup. To comply with regulations, we also discharged drain lines into an existing metal downpipe.
We thoroughly tested the new tank for any leaks before filling it up with water. In addition, we installed new circuitry for the hws including an isolator switch, RCBO (residual current breaker) and contactor. Once everything was completed successfully, our team cleaned up the site and removed the old tank.
