Helen, a resident of Warabrook (2304), recently found herself in a tricky situation when her toilet cistern fell off the wall. Not knowing who to turn to, she searched online and came across Reactive Plumbing & Electrical through our Newcastle Magnet ad.
Assigned Technician: Theran
Upon receiving Helen’s call, we immediately assigned our experienced technician Theran to the job. With years of experience under his belt and extensive knowledge in plumbing solutions, we knew he was the perfect fit for this particular task.
The Job Description & Solution
Theran arrived at Helen’s home and began investigating the issue with her toilet suite. He quickly discovered that the existing ceramic cistern was attached to a wall that had a cavity door slider, making it impossible to use traditional fixings.
This presented quite a challenge as fixing the cistern back onto the wall would not be possible without causing further damage or compromising its stability. After careful consideration and consultation with Helen, Theran provided long-term solutions that did not require fixing to the wall.
Helen decided on replacing her old toilet suite with a rimless wall-faced option that also came with an impressive 10-year warranty. This solution not only solved her current problem but also ensured she wouldn’t have any similar issues in the future.
In addition to providing top-notch service and expert advice, we were able to offer discounts on both labor and materials for this job. The total savings amounted to $695 – something that made both us and Helen very happy!
