Anne, a resident of Adamstown (2289), was experiencing issues with her hot water system and two running toilets. She found us through our Newcastle Magnet ad and decided to give us a call for help.
Assigned Service Technician: Theran
Upon receiving the call, we assigned our experienced service technician, Theran, to handle the job. With years of experience in plumbing and electrical services, we knew he would be able to provide an efficient solution for Anne’s problems.
The Job Description & Solution
Theran arrived at Anne’s residence and conducted a thorough investigation of the hot water system and toilets. He presented repair options to Anne and she accepted the replacement of the thermostat on her hot water system as well as one toilet cistern in her laundry.
To begin with, Theran replaced the faulty thermostat on Anne’s hot water system. He then reinstated power supply but informed Anne that due to off peak hours, the system would not start heating until overnight.
In addition to this, Theran also removed all existing components of the faulty toilet cistern including the seat, link piece, stop tap and connection. He replaced them with new ones which were securely attached to the wall. The completed repairs were tested by Theran before leaving Anne’s residence.
We provided a 2-year warranty on all parts used in replacing the cistern and a 1-year warranty on the newly installed thermostat.
