Job Description & Solution
Nathan arrived at Jo’s property to conduct an inspection of the stormwater system. He first checked the water meter to rule out any burst pipes as a cause for concern. Next, he carried out a CCTV drain inspection which revealed broken sections of pipework that were causing the water pooling issue.
After discussing various options with Jo, they both agreed on proceeding with a diversion solution. The scope of work included:
- Arriving onsite with an excavator
- Guiding skip bin into safe and accessible location
- Excavating approximately 1.6 metres deep to expose existing stormwater pipe
- Connecting onto existing stormwater drainage and running new 100mm PVC piping to the street
- Installing new curb side adapter to new drainage
- Backfilling existing pipework with drainage gravel once tested
