Introduction:
James, a resident of Belmont (2280), recently contacted Reactive Plumbing & Electrical after experiencing issues with his sewer system. He found us through our Newcastle Magnet ad and was impressed by our reputation as top-notch plumbers in the area.
Assigned Technician:
Zach, one of our experienced service technicians, was assigned to the job due to his expertise in handling blocked drains and extensive knowledge of plumbing systems. The Job Description & Solution:
Upon arrival at James’ property, Zach quickly assessed the situation and identified that all toilets in the home were affected by the blockage. The two downstairs bathrooms were particularly impacted, indicating a severe issue with the sewer line.
Zach conducted a thorough inspection of the pipes using our state-of-the-art equipment and discovered severe damage to the existing terracotta pipework. Additionally, there were significant tree root intrusions causing further blockages.
To address this issue, we offered James our $149 blocked drain special which includes jet blasting to attempt to restore flow to the system. While this method successfully cleared some blockages, it became evident that there was a collapsed pipe preventing complete restoration of flow.
In order to fully assess the extent of damage and provide options for repairs, Zach performed a CCTV inspection on the rest of the pipe. This allowed us to determine an appropriate solution tailored specifically for James’ needs.
