Upon arrival at Dave’s home, Adam quickly got to work investigating the cause of the blockage. He located elevated pipework and an inspection opening underneath the house which seemed to be causing the issue. Using our high pressure jet blaster, Adam was able to restore flow back into the drain.
However, when attempting to use CCTV equipment on the sink drain itself, it proved unsuccessful due to its size. To ensure everything was working properly before leaving, Adam tested the sink for flow and found it flowing freely once again.
To get a better understanding of what may have caused this blockage in the first place, Adam used CCTV downstream from stack IO and discovered a broken joint on one side of Dave’s home. This could have been caused by various factors such as age or wear-and-tear over time.
