The Job Description & Solution
Fin arrived at Jay’s residence and attempted to locate an inspection opening for access to the drainage system but unfortunately couldn’t find one. To get a better understanding of the problem, he carried out our $149 blocked drain special which included using a CCTV drain camera to inspect the drainage system.
The camera revealed multiple sections of broken sewer with tree root ingress as the main cause of blockage. To tackle this issue, Fin used high pressure water jetting to clear majority of the roots from the pipes. However, due to limited access in the ensuite branch line, he wasn’t able to completely clear the blockage.
To provide a long-term solution for Jay’s plumbing problem, Fin suggested accessing the ensuite branch line through alternative means and provided recommendations on how it could be done effectively without causing any further damage or inconvenience.
In addition to solving Jay’s blocked drain issue, we also made sure that we left his property clean and tidy after completing our work.
