Case Study: Vivienne’s Blocked Drain Dilemma in Burleigh Waters
Vivienne, a resident of Burleigh Waters (4220), was facing a major plumbing issue. Her bathroom drain was completely blocked and she needed urgent assistance to fix the problem. After searching online, she came across Reactive Plumbing & Electrical through our GMB QLD ad.
Assigned Technician: Fin
We quickly dispatched our top technician, Fin, to Vivienne’s home. With years of experience and expertise in handling all kinds of plumbing issues, we knew he was the perfect person for this job.
The Job Description & Solution
Upon arrival at Vivienne’s home, Fin assessed the situation and found that there was a blockage in her bathroom drain. To tackle this issue efficiently and effectively, we offered our $149 blocked drain special service which includes using a camera to access the sewer system via an inspection opening outside.
However, during the process, we encountered an unexpected obstacle – there was no access for the drain camera due to an illegal connection in the pipework exposed in her bathroom floor waste. We attempted to use other methods but were unable to get past the bend in the floor.
To provide a permanent solution and gain access to fix the blockage properly, we informed Vivienne that concrete cutting would be required either outside or inside her bathroom.
