To ensure that no further leaks existed in the line, Matt pressure tested it after repairing it with appropriate fittings according to national and municipal regulations. The dug hole was then backfilled with any unsuitable debris removed from trenching.
Please note that during repair work, it was discovered that the leak was located underneath Vance’s letterbox which had substantial concrete surrounding it. This concrete has been removed, and Vance has placed his letterbox elsewhere. The void left behind by removing concrete has been filled with sand while any remaining concrete will be disposed of by Vance himself.
