Assigned Technician: Theran

We assigned Theran, one of our top service technicians, to handle Henry’s job. With years of experience and extensive knowledge in plumbing and electrical work, we knew he would be able to provide an efficient solution for Henry’s problem.

The Job Description & Solution

Upon arrival at Henry’s home, Theran investigated the hot water system that was delivering lukewarm water. After thorough inspection, he discovered that the system was 15 years old and had never been serviced before. All parts were original and showing signs of wear and tear.

Finding that the temperature inside the tank was heating above 60 degrees but only delivering 38 degree water out of tapware, Theran suspected that there may be an issue with the tempering valve. Further investigation revealed that it had failed due to age and debris from the old water heater.

To solve this issue, Theran presented Henry with different options for replacement. After discussing them together, Henry decided to go ahead with replacing his old Rheem Stellar hot water system with a new one including a new 20mm tempering valve.

In order to complete this job successfully, we first disconnected and drained the old system before disposing it off properly. We then supplied and installed a brand new Rheem Stellar hot water system in its place along with a new 20mm tempering valve and necessary pipework. We also installed gas pipework to ensure the system was functioning properly.

After filling and testing the new system, we were pleased to see that it was working perfectly and delivering hot water at the desired temperature. To provide Henry with peace of mind, we informed him about the 10 year tank warranty and 2 year valve warranty for his new hot water system. We also reminded him that in order to maintain these warranties, he would need to have his system serviced at the 5 year mark.
