To fix the issue, we repaired the burst main with appropriate fittings that comply with current municipal and national regulations. We also pressure tested to ensure there were no other leaks present. To preserve pipe integrity, we backfilled with sand and removed any unsuitable debris from site. As a precautionary measure, we drilled holes into the existing slab and inserted reinforcement rods before pouring fresh concrete.
