The Job Description & Solution
After conducting a thorough investigation, Nathan discovered that tree roots had destroyed the stormwater pipes underneath Meg’s footpath. This was causing blockages and resulting in high water pressure inside her home.
To solve this problem, Nathan proposed a comprehensive solution which included hand excavating underneath the footpath to expose the damaged pipe. He then used jetting equipment to clear out any debris or obstructions before cutting out the damaged section of pipe and installing brand new pipework.
In addition to fixing the stormwater issue, Nathan also installed a new garden tap at the back of Meg’s property along with a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) at her water meter for better control over water pressure levels.
