The solution involved removing turf from the affected area onto tarps to prevent any mess or damage to Lesley’s yard. The next step was excavating dirt onto tarps until reaching pipe level. Up to 1.5 meters laterally of pipe needed to be removed before installing PVC pipe with directional junctional for future inspections and repairs.
To ensure long-term durability and functionality of the repair work, we also bedded the new pipe before backfilling it with soil and reinstating turf over it seamlessly. This process comes with a 15-year warranty so Lesley can have peace of mind knowing her plumbing is in good hands.
