June, a resident of Bonnells Bay (2264), had been experiencing ongoing issues with her toilet cistern and laundry tap. She had previously hired other plumbers to fix the problems, but none were able to provide a lasting solution. Frustrated and in need of reliable plumbing services, she found Reactive Plumbing & Electrical through our ad.
Assigned Technician: Zach
Zach was assigned to the job due to his expertise in resolving complex plumbing issues. With years of experience under his belt, he has become known as one of our top technicians for handling challenging cases like June’s.
The Job Description & Solution
Upon arrival at June’s home, Zach assessed the situation and identified two main issues – the toilet cistern and laundry tap. The property’s water pressure was also noted to be non-compliant with Australian Plumbing Standards AS3500.1 Clause 3.3.4 at 600kpa.
The toilet cistern had been causing trouble for quite some time, despite previous attempts by other plumbers to fix it. After careful inspection, Zach determined that a major valve refurbishment was needed along with replacement soft close mechanisms for the seat.
In addition, June expressed her desire for a gooseneck mixer tap similar to her kitchen faucet in her laundry area. However, she had mistakenly received a different type during construction of her unit nine years ago which resulted in constant leaking from its base.
Zach provided June with various options for repair and after discussing them together; she approved a bundle package that included all necessary repairs along with a 5% management-approved discount. The pricing also included a seniors discount as June qualified for it.
