The Job Description & Solution: Upon arrival at Alexis’ home, Khaine began investigating the source of the sewer smell. He started by removing the toilet as originally quoted for, but upon further inspection found that the rubber had been pinched and not installed correctly. This was causing the sewer smell to come up through that pipe from the toilet.
To solve this issue, Khaine reinstalled a vario bend to properly seal off any potential leaks. He also made sure to thoroughly seal all outlets before reinstalling the toilet and testing it out. As an extra precaution, he advised Alexis not to use her toilet for 24 hours while allowing time for silicone curing.
