Job Description & Solution:
The job involved servicing the bath tapware with a 6-month warranty. Upon arrival, Fin isolated the main water supply and drained down the system. He then proceeded to disconnect and decommission the ensuite shower wall top assembly before implementing a high-speed tungsten carbide drill bit to shave seats and flush out any debris in the lines.
In order to ensure long-lasting results, Fin replaced all o-rings, jumpers valves, and fibre washers while also relubricating the spindles. Once everything was back in place, he thoroughly tested and recommissioned the tapware which resulted in all leaks ceasing.
Please Note:
- A large crack was noted on one of the brass seats during inspection. We highly recommend replacing this tapware with something of ceramic disc style in order to avoid future issues.
