Upon arriving at the site, Michael conducted a thorough investigation of the electric water heater. After discussing with Chris about his options, they both agreed that switching to a gas water heater would be the best solution for his needs.
To complete this task efficiently and effectively, our team provided the following services:
- Isolated and disconnected the 315 L water cylinder and surrounding pipework
- Capped off TPR and drainage lines
- Cut PVC waste gully level, backfilled with drainage gravel, and placed a paver on top leveled to suit LPG bottles
- Ran all new 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch copper pipework; clipped and lagged all necessary pipework
- Installed all new valves and gas regulator with chain
- Fitted Rinnai unit on wall; checked level; inspected for leaks
- Tested & commissioned unit Sent Form-4 upon completion Gave Gas Compliance Certificate
- Sealed open holes with silicone
- Cleaned and tidied the work area before leaving
