The Job Description & Solution
Stuart arrived at Dorothy’s home promptly with all necessary equipment. He started by using a plunger to clear the blockage and then proceeded with a CCTV drain inspection. During this inspection, he discovered a broken section of 100mm PVC pipework in the sewer system.
To provide an effective solution, Stuart presented Dorothy with different options for repair after explaining each one thoroughly. After careful consideration, she opted for our recommended scope of work:
- Arrive onsite with relining equipment
- Hand excavate around inspection opening outside ensuite to expose 100mm pvc pipework
- Cut into pipework for access for reline
- Carry out cctv to identify and locate break in pipework
- Picote sand pipe to prep for reline
- Carry out a 1m sectional pipe reline
- Allow reline to cure
- Carry out cctv of reline and save to job file
- Renew section of pvc pipe removed for reline
- Install new bts and directional inspection openings if there is space
- Backfill using drainage gravel and bed pipework
- Clean site
- The job was completed successfully, leaving Dorothy with a fully functioning toilet once again.
