Zavier attended Kirstie’s site and conducted an investigation into the lukewarm hot water issue. He discovered that although the hot water system was only four years old, the old valves and copper pipework from the previous system were causing problems and reducing its life expectancy.
To provide Kirstie with long-term solutions, Zavier presented various options ranging from temporary fixes to full replacement solutions. After careful consideration, Kirstie chose to go with a 250 L Stella stainless hot water system as it offered durability and efficiency.
Scope of Works:
- Supplying and installing a new 250 L Rheem Stella stainless hot water system
- Removing the old hot water system along with all associated pipework and valves
- Installing new valve work and copper pipework including TPR (temperature pressure relief) valve, CWE (cold-water expansion) valve, tempering valve,
pressure reducing valve,and non-return valve - Insulating all necessary pipework and valves
- Securing all pipework according to code
- Running new drainage lines from the cold water expansion into the stormwater system
- Checking for any leaks in the work done
- An electrician will install a safety switch and reconnect/disconnect the hot water system.
