The Job Description & Solution:
Upon arrival at Matthew’s home, Matt isolated the main water supply and drained down the system. After disconnecting and decommissioning the ensuite shower wall top assembly, he proceeded to implement a high-speed tungsten carbide drill bit to shave seats and flushed the lines thoroughly.
Matt then replaced all o-rings jumpers valves and fibre washers before relubricating the spindles. Once everything was back in place, he tested and recommissioned tapware with no leaks detected.
Please Note:
- A large crack was noted in the brass seat during inspection
- We highly recommend replacing your tapware with something of ceramic disc style in order to avoid future issues
