Assigning Our Top Technician Josh to the Job

We take pride in providing top-notch service to all our clients, which is why we assigned our experienced technician Josh to handle this emergency job. With his expertise and knowledge, we knew he would be able to solve the issue efficiently.

The Job Description & Solution

Upon arrival at Lara’s property, Josh conducted a CCTV inspection on the sewer line and discovered that there was a major blockage upstream of the shaft under the retaining wall. This blockage was causing both the garage flooding and ensuite bathroom overflow when backwashing pool water.

To resolve this issue, we carried out jet blasting and another CCTV camera inspection from the sewer shaft upstream. This allowed us to restore flow to the drain and identify that there was also a collapsed bend full of tree roots causing further blockages.

In addition, we also conducted an inspection on their stormwater system where we found that their curb outlet adapter was squashed and blocked. This caused rainwater tank under their house to fill up quickly during heavy rainfall resulting in water flooding into their garage.

After discussing the options with Lara, she opted to proceed with our recommended scope of work which included:

Sewer Work

  • Arriving onsite with all necessary equipment
  • Reviewing dial before you dig plans
  • Carrying out large hand excavation down to failed sewer pipework
  • Cutting and removing old pipework from the ground
  • Rebuilding new sewer pip
