Hello, my name is Adam and I am a service technician at Reactive Plumbing & Electrical. Recently, we received a call from Andrew in Rankin Park (2287) regarding a blocked stormwater issue on his property. He found us through our Newcastle Magnet ad and reached out to us for help.
Assigning the Right Technician for the Job
As soon as we received the call from Andrew, our team immediately got to work on finding the best solution for his blocked stormwater problem. After assessing the situation, it was clear that this job required someone with extensive experience and knowledge in dealing with drainage issues. That’s why I was assigned to handle this particular job.
The Job Description and Solution
I arrived at Andrew’s property fully equipped with all necessary tools and equipment to tackle the blocked stormwater issue. Upon inspection of the drain, it was evident that there was a blockage causing water backup and preventing proper flow.
To address this issue, I first used CCTV cameras to get an accurate view of what exactly was causing the blockage. This allowed me to pinpoint its location without having to dig up any unnecessary areas of Andrew’s property.
Once identified, I then used a high-pressure jet blaster to clear out any debris or buildup within the drain pipes. This method is highly effective in restoring flow quickly without causing any damage or disruption to surrounding areas.
However, upon further inspection using CCTV cameras after clearing out the blockage, it became apparent that there were underlying issues with one section of the drain pipe which had collapsed due to age and wear-and-tear over time.
As a solution, I recommended to Andrew that we replace the damaged section of the drain pipe to prevent any future blockages and ensure proper drainage on his property. He agreed, and I was able to complete the replacement in a timely manner.
