The Job Description & Solution
Zach attended Ebony’s site for a suspected water leak. Upon arrival, he confirmed that the water meter was passing and that the wet areas were not solely due to recent rains. After visually inspecting the area, he diagnosed the problem as a failed joint in the ground where water was bubbling up through grass.
In addition, Ebony mentioned she had been having issues with her garden tap, so Zach also included complimentary replacement of it during his visit.
To solve the issue at hand, Zach recommended a sectional repair of the water service which involved excavation, replacement, and reinstatement of existing grass. Ebony approved this solution and work began immediately.
Zach carefully excavated around the failed joint in order to replace it with a new section of copper piping. Once completed, he tested and commissioned the repaired water service before refilling the excavation area and tidying up any mess created during repairs.
