Case Study: Solving a Leaking Mixer Tap and High Water Pressure Issue in Adamstown Heights

The Job Description and Solution
Upon arrival at James’ residence, Theran conducted a thorough investigation of the leaking mixer tap. He also noted that James had requested pricing to replace 2 x pop up plug and waste with 2 x normal plug and waste. To ensure that there were no underlying issues causing the leak, Theran conducted a pressure test on the water supply of James’ home.
The results showed that there was excessive water pressure at 700kpa, which could potentially cause further damage if left unaddressed. After presenting all available options to James, he decided to go ahead with our VIP membership package which included replacement of the mixer cartridge, installation of a 500kpa pressure regulating valve, and replacement of both pop up plug and wastes with normal ones.
Theran completed all works as per approval from James and tested everything upon completion to ensure everything was working properly. We also provided warranties on each component – 12 months on the mixer cartridge, 5 years on the pressure regulating valve, and 5 years on the plug and wastes.
