Upon receiving Sheryl’s call, we immediately assigned our experienced technician, Theran, to the job. With years of experience and expertise in plumbing and electrical services, we knew he would be able to provide an effective solution for Sheryl’s problem.

Job Description & Solution

Theran arrived at Sheryl’s home on Monday – 05/05/2025 at 7am as per their scheduled booking. He began by conducting a thorough investigation of the hot water system leak in the laundry. After careful examination, he discovered that the system was already 32 years old and beyond repair.

Sheryl requested that the new hot water system be relocated to an exterior wall on the eastern side of her home. Additionally, she wanted options on different types of water heaters available for installation.

To ensure proper installation and functionality of any new water heater, Theran conducted a pressure test on the entire water supply system within Sheryl’s home. The results showed that not only was there excessive pressure at 600kpa but it also did not comply with safety standards.

In light of this discovery, Theran presented various options to Sheryl regarding replacement water heaters and suggested installing a pressure regulating valve at the main water meter to protect her entire home’s supply including the new heater.

After discussing the options with Sheryl, she agreed to have a Rheem Stellar 250 litre (Stainless Steel) water heater installed and also opted for the installation of a pressure regulating valve at the main water meter. This would ensure that her home’s water supply was safe and regulated.

The following tasks were completed by Theran:

  • Installed a 500kpa pressure regulating valve at the main water meter
  • Supplied and installed a new water heater on an exterior wall on the eastern side of Sheryl’s
