The Job Description & Solution

Upon arrival at Paul’s residence, Theran investigated the leaking hot water system. After thorough inspection, he discovered that the 250 litre tank was a 2013 model and had irreparable leaks. This meant that it needed to be replaced rather than repaired.

Theran presented replacement options to Paul, explaining the benefits of each one in detail. After careful consideration, Paul decided on an Everhot 250 storage water heater with installation of a tempering valve. The tempering valve is essential for maintaining safe temperatures in domestic hot water systems.

To begin with the installation process, we disconnected both the water supply and electrical connections to ensure safety during work. Next, we drained out all existing contents from the old tank before removing it completely from site.

We then supplied and installed an Everhot 250 storage water heater along with a new tempering valve. To accommodate these new installations, we also installed new pipework as per requirements. Once everything was connected properly including hot/cold water lines and electrical connections, we filled the tank and reinstated power supply.

Before leaving, Theran conducted a thorough test to ensure that everything was functioning correctly. We also provided Paul with a 10-year warranty for the new tank and a 2-year warranty for the tempering valve.
