Upon arrival at Sasha’s home, Theran investigated the leak at their hot water system. After thorough inspection, he discovered that the system was manufactured in February 2024 and did not have a 500kpa pressure limiting valve installed as per manufacturer’s specifications. This meant that the incoming cold water pressure to the home was exceeding the safety valve pressure setting at 850kpa maximum.
The Solution:
Theran presented Sasha with an option to install a 500kpa pressure regulating valve at their water meter to stabilize the incoming water pressure into their home. Understanding the importance of maintaining safe and regulated water pressure, Sasha accepted our VIP membership offer along with installation of the pressure regulating valve.
To begin with, Theran isolated the water supply to Sasha’s home before altering pipework at their water meter to accommodate for installation of the new valve. Once installed, he thoroughly tested it for any leaks or malfunctions before completing his work.
