Case Study: Solving a Blocked Stormwater Drain for Elizabeth in Charlestown
Elizabeth, a resident of Charlestown (2290), was facing a major issue with her stormwater drain. The water was not draining properly and it was causing inconvenience and potential damage to her property. She needed immediate help and that’s when she found us through our Newcastle Magnet ad.
Assigned Service Technician: Bella
As soon as we received the call from Elizabeth, we knew that this job required an experienced technician who could handle the situation efficiently. That’s why we assigned Bella, one of our top technicians, to take care of this job.
Job Description & Solution
Bella attended the site and assessed the blocked stormwater drain. After careful examination, she offered Elizabeth our $149 drain special which includes attempting to restore flow inside the pipe using jetting equipment.
However, despite multiple attempts using high-pressure jetting equipment, Bella was unable to restore proper flow in the drain. This indicated that there might be a more serious underlying issue causing the blockage.
To ensure that this problem is solved effectively and permanently, Bella booked our Drain Supervisor to return next Wednesday between 2-4 pm. Our supervisor will use advanced techniques such as CCTV camera inspection to identify any potential issues within the pipes and provide a long-term solution for Elizabeth’s blocked stormwater drain.
