– Removed and replaced Temperature and pressure relief valve.
– Removed and replaced Tempering valve and connections.
– Removed and replaced bottom thermostat
and element.
– Removed and replaced sacrificial anode.
– Reinstated water supply and tested upon completion.
The result? The system is now heating from top element with bottom element activating during offpeak hours. This solution ensures efficient use of energy while providing consistent access to hot water for Greg’s household needs.
