The Job Description & Solution
Margaret’s initial complaint was that her hot water system was not delivering hot water as it should be. Upon arrival, Theran conducted a thorough investigation of the system and discovered that it was a 26-year-old continuous flow water heater.
Further inspection revealed that both the flame rod and PC board had failed due to age, causing the lack of hot water. After discussing various options with Margaret, she decided to go ahead with replacing the entire system rather than just repairing the faulty components.
Theran presented her with different replacement options based on her budget and needs, ultimately recommending a Rinnai B26 unit with a new valve kit. The existing system was removed from its location, and the new one was installed in its place.
In addition to installing the new unit, Theran also connected Margaret’s existing Rinnai water controller to ensure seamless operation. He then set the temperature according to her preferences before conducting thorough testing upon completion.
To ensure complete satisfaction for our client, we also rectified a leaking gas connection at their gas meter, providing them with peace of mind and a safe hot water system.
