Upon arrival at Josh’s home, Theran investigated the blocked kitchen sink. He found that the blockage was localized to the sink only and proceeded to disconnect the waste pipe to clear it. The cause of the blockage was determined to be a build-up of grease in the kitchen drain.

To ensure there were no further issues with the drain, Theran used CCTV downstream and discovered that the kitchen drain connected into another drain underneath the bathroom vanity unit. Fortunately, this drain was free from any blockages.

While conducting investigations on where the kitchen line discharges, Theran also noticed an issue with Josh’s basin mixer in his bathroom. The flexible hoses had rusted and needed replacement. He presented options for a new basin mixer including new hoses and Josh accepted our standard option.

To complete this job efficiently and effectively, Theran isolated water supply before removing existing basin mixer and installing a new one supplied by Reactive Plumbing & Electrical. Once completed, he reinstated water supply and tested everything thoroughly to ensure there were no leaks or issues.
