Upon arrival at Steve’s property, Christian conducted a thorough investigation of the leaking shower. He found that the wall top tap set was faulty and needed immediate attention. To solve this issue, Christian performed a full service on the tapware which included re-greasing threads and seals, as well as supplying and installing new o-ring seals, fibre washers, and washers.
During his inspection, Christian also discovered cracks in the tap seats which were causing the leaks. While he was able to remove these cracks by re-seating them temporarily, he informed Steve that it may not be a long-term solution. As discussed with our client beforehand, if this issue occurs again we will have to proceed with option 3.
