Alternative Case Study: Rosa’s Hot Water System Replacement
Introduction: Meet our client, Rosa from Burleigh Waters (4220). She recently found us through our Gold Coast Magnet ad and gave us a call for help with her hot water system.
Assigned Technician: Our experienced technician, Michael, was assigned to the job due to his expertise in gas hot water systems and previous successful installations.
The Job Description & Solution: Upon arrival at Rosa’s home, Michael conducted a thorough investigation of her hot water system. He discovered that it had reached its life expectancy and was not functioning properly. After discussing the options with Rosa, they agreed on the following scope of works:
- Removal of existing hot water system
- Removal of existing LPG regulator
- Removal of existing pipework
- Supply and install new 250MJ LPG regulator with moving the cylinder to the right
- Supply and install new Rinnai B20 LPG gas hot water system with new valve kit and lagging
- Supply and install new hose tap with complementary pipework
- Complete pressure test to ensure all gas works are holding without any leaks
