Client Case Study: James from Carrara (4211)

Introduction:

James, a homeowner in the suburb of Carrara (4211), recently experienced multiple stormwater issues after extreme weather conditions. He found us through our Gold Coast Magnet ad and reached out for help.

Assigned Technician:

Kahine was assigned to the job due to his expertise in stormwater repairs and experience with similar cases in the past.

The Job Description & Solution:

Kahine attended James’ property to investigate the stormwater issues. After thorough inspection, he discovered a possible crack in the downpipe on the left-hand side of the property, which may have caused flooding in the garage area. To prevent further leaks, Kahine recommended excavating and replacing this downpipe. Additionally, he found that the pump-out pit was incorrectly installed and needed renewal.

Flooding had also occurred on the right-hand side of James’ property due to lack of drainage. Kahine proposed installing a new downpipe and strip drains in this area to address this issue. He also noticed that three pits on this side had floated up from their original position due to recent extreme weather conditions and needed reinstallation.
