The Job Description & Solution
Blake arrived at Tony’s home with all the necessary equipment to conduct a CCTV camera assessment of his sewer drain. After clearing a current blockage, it was evident that there were multiple underlying issues causing frequent blockages – including bellys (holding water), breaks, tree roots and poor drainage placement.
We provided Tony with various options and he chose to proceed with our recommended scope of work:
- A machine excavation of approximately 22m starting from the rear corner of his house towards the council main
- Cutting out existing sewer drainage and replacing it with new piping along its entire span
- Picking up all required fixtures along the way (main bathroom, laundry, ensuite vent gully)
- Installing access points for future maintenance needs
- Graveling around drainage for support and conducting flow tests to ensure proper functioning
- Filling backfilling soil and reinstating any affected areas exactly as they were before
The job was completed successfully without any unforeseen issues arising during the process.
