The Job Description & Solution

Upon arrival at Kay’s property, Blake used our state-of-the-art CCTV drain camera to inspect the entire stormwater system. The inspection revealed that there were no obstructions or blockages present. This meant that adding extensive drainage to the front of her property was achievable.

We provided Kay with a detailed quote outlining our proposed solution. She opted to proceed with the scope of work stated below:

  • Arrive on site with required equipment to undergo quoted work.
  • Read over dial before you dig plans.
  • Guide skip bin into required location.
  • Unload excavator in accessible location.
  • Excavate 300mm x 300mm trench around garden edging for slotted drain pipe as per marked (20 meters).
    • Note: All new drainage fixtures will be picked up along the way during installation process.

– Install new channel drain and stormwater pit by cutting concrete at front of property.
– Hand excavate across front of house for new drainage install.
– Install new 100mm drainage across front of house with x2 uni pits and 1x larger pit.
– Trench in front of retaining wall.
– Install 6m agg-line along front of retaining wall.
– Remove and replace x8 metal downpipes with new 90mm pvc downpipes.
-In concrete drainage will be reconcreted in place and customer supplied concrete sealer will be applied.

    Note: All works will be tested at full capacity.

– All existing soil will be backfilled and compacted.
– Excess soil and rubbish will be removed to an onsite skip bin.
– Mulching will be reinstated in front of the house.
– On-site skip bin removal will be arranged after completion.
– Final site clean-up will also be carried out.
