The Job Description & Solution
Chad arrived at Aaron’s home and assessed the situation. He found that there was a blockage in the kitchen Gully which was causing issues with the entire sewer system. To resolve this issue, Chad carried out a rod plunge which successfully restored flow to the system.
To ensure that there were no further underlying issues, we followed up with a CCTV drain inspection. During this process, we identified a break in the sewer system which needed immediate attention.
We drew out a detailed diagram of the sewer system for Aaron and explained all possible solutions for repair. After considering all options presented by our team, Aaron opted to proceed with our recommended scope of work:
- Arrive on site with equipment
- Use concrete saw to cut out marked section of concrete
- Hand excavate to expose 100mm PVC sewer pipe
- Repair broken section of 100mm PVC with new junction, riser and BTS
- Test all pipework
- Backfill pipework with drainage gravel and compact
- Re-instate concrete with a standard grey finish
- Job completed
