Matt arrived on site and conducted a thorough investigation of the potable drinking line. After careful examination, he recommended conducting a pressure test to confirm if there was indeed a leak on the main line.
The pressure test revealed that there was indeed a leak on the rainwater tank’s system connected to the main line. Matt quickly isolated the leak and proceeded with fixing it.
To further assist Elaine with her plumbing needs, Matt also suggested replacing her old basin mixer tap with a new one that comes with a 7-year warranty. He isolated the main water supply, drained down the system, disconnected and decommissioned the existing tap before installing the new one. To ensure convenience for Elaine in case of future repairs or maintenance work, mini stop isolations were installed on both hot and cold lines as well.
