The Job Description & Solution
Michael attended Edgar’s residence to carry out an investigation on the leaking taps. Upon thorough inspection, it was discovered that water was leaking from the cold water tap washer. Further examination revealed that the tap set was over 50 years old and had been made from scratch by a previous plumber.
In discussion with Edgar, it was decided that replacing the entire tap set would be the best solution. Our team provided onsite price options and after careful consideration, Edgar accepted our proposed works which included:
- – Isolating water to dwelling
- – Cutting out and removing existing tap-set plus breach
- – Cleaning existing copper pipes
- – Supplying and installing new 200mm centre copper breach with lever wall top assembly’s and new telescopic spout
- – Supplying and installing two new additional tees with washing machine taps
- – Testing and commissioning all works while securing pipework neatly
Please note that as discussed onsite with owner due to pressure being over the manufacturer’s warranty, only labor can be warranted.
